About Alexandre Moors

Alexandre grew up in Paris where he studied fine art and design at the Arts Décoratifs. He moved to New York in 1998 and began working as a creative director in the design and motion graphics world while also directing commercials, music videos and short films whenever he had the chance.

A break for Alexandre came when he was brought on as a creative for Kanye West’s seminal film, Runaway, which led to directing Kanye’s 7-screen film Cruel Summer and the Kanye/Jay-Z music video N.I.P. He then went on to creative direct for Kendrick Lamar where he directed the highly acclaimed music video, “I”, which Billboard included in the top 100 videos of the last decade.

In 2019 Alexandre became Miley Cyrus’ creative director, overseeing her performances and directing her videos, including the groundbreaking and visually striking music video Mother’s Daughter. Alexandre has also been called upon by Beyonce, Pharrell Williams, and Justin Timberlake to creative direct for their world tours and visual content.

Over the years Alexandre has also managed to direct two narrative feature films which both premiered at Sundance. His first feature, Blue Caprice, won Breakthrough Director and Best First Feature nominations at the Gotham and Independent Spirit Awards, respectively. His latest feature, The Yellow Birds, starred Jennifer Aniston, Toni Colette and Alden Ehrenreich and won the Special Jury Award for Best Cinematography at Sundance.

On the commercial front, Alexandre has helmed campaigns for Beats, Nike, and Zegna to name a few.
